Overview
This 1 day course enables a first aider to give emergency first aid to an individual who becomes ill or is injured while at work in an environment which is considered to be of low hazard risk, for example an office or library.

Primary Survey
Recovery position (Unresponsive casualty, breathing normally)
CPR and AED (Unresponsive casualty, not breathing normally)
Choking
Shock
Wounds and bleeding
Seizures
Minor burns and scalds
Foreign objects
Assessment
Candidates are continually assessed throughout the course by observation of their practical skills and the successful completion of a theory assessment. All candidates are supported where necessary by our trainers.

This renewal course is designed for someone whose FAW is due to expire or which has recently expired, who needs to requalify without having to attend the full 3 day FAW course.

Overview
The EPFA course is suitable for anyone who is responsible for the welfare of infants and children, who would like to gain knowledge of paediatric first aid at a basic level, but who does not need training on the full EYFS Framework syllabus and Ofsted requirements, for example parents and grandparents.

This 2 day course is designed for individuals who work with infants and children at a professional level, and who require an Ofqual compliant course that meets the requirements of Ofsted and the Department for Education’s EYFS Framework, for example teachers, teaching assistants and childminders.
